Operations Manager for EU Research Software Product (part-time)

EMDESK is a German small growing software company providing services and applications for Research Projects Management.

The Operations Manager supports EMDESK in all operative areas. The tasks range from Sales & Marketing to Customer Support.

Understand our product and customers;
Plan and manage Marketing campaigns and Sales strategies;
Attract, approach and manage prospects with tailored presentations;
Respond to inbound inquiries and take leads through sales process (phone and email);
Establish, maintain and improve relationships with our clients or related networks (events, website, online community, presentations, mailings);
Interface between customer and product development;
Daily office management tasks.

Degree in relevant field or experience;
3-5 years of work experience (preferably in the EU environment);
Excellent in English, German would be an asset;
Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented work attitude, able to communicate clearly, concisely and competent, both orally and in writing;
Internet affinity along with proficiency in MS Office tools;
Good technical understanding;
Highly independent work ethic and outgoing personality;
Interest in EU institutions and processes.
