Customer Service Representative - Scandinavian Market

Job purpose
- Support the business growth objectives through a management of the entire order to cash process in their dedicated area;
- One face to the customer, responsible of end to end process, from order management, to cash collection activities, supporting the Sales organization, granting customers a high service level;
- Critical results & key responsibilities.
Order management:
- Assess quality of order book before the season shipments and check if credit limit is in line with potential seasonal customer turnover;
- Order management: make sure orders are shipped within service level agreed, maximizing shipments;
- Push weekly replenishment, calling proactively customers using available tools
Credit control:
- Proposal of credit limit set up, payment terms and class of risk, in line with European Credit Policy, for new customers;
- Propose revised credit limit, revise class of risk at the beginning of each season for existing customers;
- Carry out collection activities, ensuring daily/ weekly follow up of the invoices by personal contact with debtors , sending reminders and statements, contacting agents and any other tool needed;
- Negotiate payment plan in line with European credit policy and following decision authority matrix.
Shipment control:
- Regular review of customers blocked in the selection, review potential risks of cancellations;
- Ensure Export documentation.
Returns & claims:
- Make sure any claims/ returns are timely approved within decision authority matrix, and in line with European policy and procedure;
- Ensure consumer and customers claims are solved.
Key relations:
- Ensure optimal relationship with customer by proactively communicating with key contacts to ensure issues are resolved.
Job requirements
- Previous professional experience working in a customer facing role (ideally in a customer service environment);
- Very good numerical skills;
- Commercial skills;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, XL);
- Aptitude for systems (knowledge of SAP is a clear advantage);
- Extremely good customer focused written and spoken communication skills;
- Relationship management and negotiation skills;
- Excellent level of Swedish and English (knowledge of further Scandinavian languages like Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish would be a plus)
