Welcome to the BrusselsJobs website (this "Site"). This Site provides job listings, career information, the ability to upload CV details, and other career services. Your visit to this Site is subject to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. These Terms of Use apply to visitors and job seekers.

1. Scope, Eligibility and Acceptance of the Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this Site. By using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

You must be 18 years or older to use and benefit from this Site. By using this Site, you warrant that you have reached the minimum age and that you have the rights, power and capacity to agree to and abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not meet these conditions or do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use and access this Site.

 

2. Your account

2.1 Creation of your account

By registering on this Site you will benefit from all the website features dedicated to job seekers and will be able to upload your CV or any additional information relevant to your job research. When registering on this Site, you will need to provide some Personal Data such as your name, e-mail address, age, username and password.

Your Personal Data will be used as described in our Privacy Policy. In order to register with this site, you will need to go to our Registration Page and follow the steps described thereafter.

2.2 Update or cancellation of your account

You may, at anytime, update your registration to this Site in the "CV Section".You may also, at anytime, remove your CV and profile from this Site in the "CV Section". Following a request for account cancellation, we will delete all related personal data with effect to the future unless we are legally required to keep them. Note that your account may still be available for a period of time on our servers or on third party servers due to the Internet structure. 

2.3 Termination of your account

We may at any time terminate your account without justification. In the event we terminate your account, we will notify you via email and we will delete all related personal data with effect to the future. In any event, if you have not logged-in to the Site at least once in 25 consecutive months we will send you a reminder email to inform you that you must log-in within 30 days of receiving our email or we may remove your CV and profile from your account.

 

3. User Content

3.1. CVs Database

The CVs database may only be used for lawful purposes by natural persons seeking job opening, new employment opportunities and career information.

You are entirely responsible for all the content that you submit on this Site ("User Content"). User Content includes all the information, personal data, curriculum vitae, cover letters, past experience, recommendations, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, images, videos, messages or any other materials that you transmit, upload, post, e-mail or otherwise make available on this Site.

By submitting User Content to EuroJobsites, you authorize EuroJobsites to use the content you have provided for recruitment purposes. Recruitment purposes include but are not limited to the making available of your User Content to potential recruiters or headhunters, the sale of your User Content to potential recruiters or headhunters or any other use necessary in order to find potential recruiters or headhunters which may be interested in your profile or candidature. Furthermore, by submitting the User Content, you warrant that (a) you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the User Content that you post; (b) User Content you supply does not violate these Terms of Use and (c) User content you supply is true and accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge; and (d) you will indemnify EuroJobsites for any claims resulting from User Content.

3.2. Prohibited uses

You agree not to engage in, or assist or encourage others to engage in transmitting, uploading, posting, e-mailing, or otherwise making available on this Site, User Content that

  • is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, or otherwise injurious to third parties;
  • is confidential or cannot be disclosed to the public due to statutory restrictions or contractual requirements;
  • you were compensated for or granted any consideration by any third party;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any third party;
  • promotes a competitor in any form or links to a competitor website;
  • contains any software viruses, unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, political campaigning, solicitation or promotional material, including chain letters, mass mailings or any form of "spam" or
  • use a false e-mail address, impersonate any person or entity, falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

3.3. Notification of Illegal Activity

EuroJobsites does not actively monitor, endorse or control the User Content transmitted or posted on this Site. Therefore, EuroJobsites does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of User Content. If you believe that User Content violates these Terms of Use, please feel free to contact us indicating the allegedly illicit or harmful content and using the "How to Contact Us" section below.

If a User notifies us that User Content allegedly does not conform to these Terms of Use, we may in our sole discretion investigate the allegation and determine whether to take any actions, remove or request the removal of the Content, or terminate the user account. EuroJobsites has no liability regarding the performance or nonperformance of those activities.

3.4. Submissions and Feedback

While we welcome your comments and feedback regarding this Site, or the services we offer EuroJobsites does not wish to receive ideas or information of a confidential or non-use nature EuroJobsites will consider all comments and feedback that you disclose or offer to EuroJobsites to be non-proprietary and non-confidential, and may use such comments and feedback in compliance with applicable laws. By disclosing or offering such comments and feedback, you agree that EuroJobsites will not have any further confidentiality, non-use or other obligation to you.
