The European Business & Innovation Centre Network (EBN) is a network of around 150 quality-certified EU|BICs (business and innovation centres) and 70 other organisations that support the development and growth of innovative entrepreneurs, start-ups, and SMEs.

EBN’s core business is creating and maintaining a network of high-quality providers of services to innovative entrepreneurs. To this end, the EBN certification process is key in order to assure high quality services by it EUBIC members.

EBN is also active in the management of a wide portfolio of EU funded projects whose end goal is to improve the capacity building of innovative entrepreneurs.

The EBN HQ is based in Brussels, with a dynamic team composed of a mix of nationalities and professional backgrounds.

In this framework, EBN is recruiting for immediate start an administrative assistant.

Tasks - The duties and tasks for this position will include, but are not restricted to:

  • Follow up of the agenda and engagements of the CEO;
  • Office management;
  • Follow up of member requests channelled through different team members;
  • Administrative follow up of certification process – travel, signature of contracts;
  • Updating of general EBN database;
  • Ad hoc assistance at EBN events.

Requirements - Applicants are required to have the following skills:

  • Administration related degree;
  • Organised and pro-active work approach;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office package;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, other languages are a benefit;
  • An interest in innovation-related topics;
  • Ability to multi-task and work to meet tight deadlines;
  • Excellent presentational skills.

Desirable:

  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and respect deadlines;
  • Ability to network and work in a multi-cultural team;
  • Flexibility.
