Job Summary

As our Digital Channel Manager, you're target is to continuously improve the management and content of the TIS (Terumo Interventional Systems) Digital applications program, timely, in budget and in accordance with overall business strategy and the processes and procedures at Terumo.

You'll be responsible for the successful development, execution and implementation of digital program and digital-related initiatives including managing daily operational tasks and enhancing the customer and associate experience’s through various self-service delivery channels and services.

Job Responsibilities

  • As our Digital Channel Manager, you’ll be involved in different topics.
  • Key is Channel Management. In cooperation with the Group Manager Digital Applications, Digital Marketing Manager and the Marketing Directors you are responsible for developing a digital strategy for Terumo. One of the main targets of our Digital Team is to create a better and well-targeted online presence, and you actively contribute to reach that target.
  • You’ll lead and manage the end-to-end channel lifecycle from launching ideas to end of life. You’ll do overall management of existing (improvements, efficiency or quality) and raise ideas for future digital channels.
  • As our Digital Channel Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Terumo. You’ll work closely with the Digital Applications Team to develop and realise the digital strategy and program. You’ll interact with the different end users to gather feedback, and in the end to satisfy business needs. Furthermore, you’ll engage with ICT, Legal and Quality Systems on deeper aspects of digital channel management and policy/process review.
  • Besides internal collaboration, you will manage our external vendors and connect them with the internal stakeholders. Activities as contract negotiations, monitor the upgrades and new feature integrations, as well as performance management of the third-party service providers, are part of your daily tasks.
  • To bring all the above to a perfect end, a big chunk of your job will relate to project management. You’ll sometimes act as lead, sometimes as co-manager with the PMO team, on complex business unit initiatives to ensure projects are successfully completed on time and within budget. Clear communication towards all stakeholders is key in this role, to ensure successful implementation and smooth operational transition of channels.
  • To be able to do this job smoothly, you’ll have to keep yourself updated on basic technical product knowledge and sales techniques, as well as on trends and developments in the area of digital transformation.

Profile Description

  • You have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, with multiple years (min. 5) of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in channel/product lifecycle management.
  • Thanks to this experience, digital terminology as CRM, Social Media, Web Analytics, Big Data, … are well known to you. The same applies for CMS, DAM, API’s and interfaces. You have proven experience working within an Agile framework, UX/CX/Service design.
  • Next to analytical, data-minded and flexible, you’re also confident enough to lead workshops/meetings with various size groups and to negotiate between all levels of employees and stakeholders of projects.
  • To interact with the different internal and external stakeholders, you are fluent in English and can show excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Next to this, you are flexible in (inter)national travelling – up to 10% (within Europe).
