As part of our risk management team you are responsible for:
Ongoing monitoring, escalating and tracking risk management-related issues and/or queries for AIF (e.g. real estate, private equity, private debt), including the monitoring and management of market, credit, counterparty, liquidity and operational risks;
Supervising and assessing the level of risk of the funds and the adequacy of the respective risk management process;
Supervising the performance of delegated risk management activities and providing a balanced and reliable control;
Supporting funds structuring activities, liaising with internal clients, drafting respective policies, filings and processes;
Providing expertise for the risk management of funds with liquid assets, from interpretation of regulatory requirements, the development of the Risk;
Management processes and risk profiles to the regular application to the funds;
Ensuring implementation, production and delivery of adequate risk reports for Senior Management and the Board;
Reviewing and supporting the arrangements and procedures aimed at an appropriate, transparent and fair valuation of illiquid assets.
You Offer
You hold a university degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent (CFA, PRM, FRM or similar education would be an asset);
You gained at least 5 years professional experience in the area of risk management for investment funds for AIF including Real Estate, Private Equity and Private Debt;
Profound knowledge of the applicable laws and regulations;
Ability to interact with variety of partners globally and to build partnerships of trust;
Solid analytical skills and ability to rapidly comprehend complex issues;
Ability to deliver sound opinion and to present solutions with impact;
Project Management skills to focus on key aspects in the face of complexity and time constraints;
Experience in risk/return estimation and attribution;
Willingness to learn new things and to look into a broad range of topics;
Goal oriented, self-driven flexible;
Proficient in English (oral and written); German or French is a plus.
