We have a high-profile, expanding project portfolio including legal research and transposition checks, evaluations and impact assessments, economic and market studies, expert advisory and assistance to implement programmes.

We have framework contracts and work regularly with DG GROW, MOVE, JUST, ENER, REFORM, the GSA and the European Parliament. We currently run projects for DG, DG ENVI, DG SANTE, DG CONNECT, DG FISMA, DG COMP, DG EMPL, DG RTD, DG CLIMA, EASME, ESA, JRC, ESPON and many other agencies and institutions within the EU.

What we look for:

Our success is due to our excellent team of consultants and researchers and we are now looking to strengthen our team further with the profile of Business Development Officer.

The Business Development Officer will ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the office, notably by:

  • Support on the management of business development-related activities;
  • Keep contacts with external stakeholders and clients involved:
    • Support on the management of the admin and logistic chapters of the tender submitted;
    • Support on the filing of the documentation needed for the tendering process;
    • Keep various databases updated with latest information and documentation.
  • Support on collection and analysis of data for the drafting of status reports;
  • Assist on the drafting of operational reports for the supervisors;
  • Support the staff on daily operational needs and facilitate the communication with internal stakeholders;
  • Provide assistance in monitoring and follow-up the on-going projects;
  • Optimize the procure to pay (P2P) process;
  • Assist to the preparation of profitability and costs analysis and explore opportunities for cost reduction;
  • Assist to the control and monitoring of the budget and monthly reporting;
  • Support the implementation of PM software;
  • Support the Senior Business Development Officer and the Financial Director on daily operational needs.

What we need:

  • Fluent (written & spoken) English;
  • Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of MS Office suite, particularly SharePoint;
  • Working knowledge and understanding of integrated program planning, development, and administration;
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and to assist on reports drafting;
  • Good organizational abilities in order to keep everything on track;
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload;
  • Good communication and conflict resolution aptitudes;
  • Self-motivation; team spirit; eye for detail;
  • +-3 years of professional experience in the lines of the posted profile, preferable in consultancy environment.
