As Platform Engineering Engineer you have proven experience in a datacenter and MS Windows environment. As part of the team, you carry out overall support activities in a timely and reliable manner and when required you will visit our datacenter in Cologne, and in exceptional cases in Eindhoven and Antwerp, with a major focus on availability and compliant to high security standards.
Main Activities
- Being responsible for the dell server hardware, networks, firewalls, load balancers and OS (install, configure and support);
- Being responsible for system hardening (PCI-DSS, ISO-27001), monitoring for performance and security anomalies, alerting, installing all relevant security activities, and ensuring that we meet our SLAs/OLAs.
Education
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
Technical Skills
- Experienced in operating the MS windows environment (Windows Server OS, Active Directory, IIS);
- MCSA certification is a plus;
- Experience with MS SQL Server is a plus;
- Operational automation experience is a plus (powershell);
- Linux knowledge is a plus.

Other requirements
- Holder of a car driver license to visit the datacenters when required.
