Our team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for the design, analysis, development, maintenance and participates in testing and deployment using a wide range of technologies to drive true value to our customers, acting as the CoE for the applications, solutions and products scope.

What will you do

You will be working closely with internal customers, technical analysts and other engineers to develop your product/service. You will ensure the gathering of technical market insights and customer needs, combine that with your expertise and you will stay focus on continuous improvement to deliver key product improvements to achieve customer satisfaction having the end-to-end ownership of your daily activities. You will be involved in all stages of software development, being front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.

As a Lead Software Engineer you will

Prepare, plan, co-ordinate, lead and be responsible for the development, testing and installations of medium size/complexity/risk systems and/or projects across functional and geographical lines and review progress regularly with customers and own management;
Meet with the customer to identify needs and requirements and manage solution development ensuring effectiveness in meeting customers needs;
Analyse input/output requirements, information flow, technical requirements, resources needed and select between alternative systems solutions in order to make a proposal to the customer. Create complex prototypes;
Validate technical feasibility and estimates of the proposed systems solutions;
Provide functional support and leadership to staff and customers, lead and direct teams and/or medium siz/complexity/risk projects and assist and give guidance in resolving problems;
Ensure production of complete systems documentation and operating procedures. Give presentations to management and customers;
May, in line with established procedures, organize, coordinate and deliver the output of one or several teams of specialists. May be consulted on people- and departmental management issues;
Lead design review meetings.

What will make you successful

Experience & Education

University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines/equivalent work experience;
10 to 14 years’ experience in systems development; with 2 years exposure to the team leader role.

Technical skills

Development: Oracle 19c/Exadata/PL/SQL/Performance tuning/Security/Database Vault/Python + Jinja2/Perl/Bash/RHEL/Kubernetes/OpenShift/Helm/ArgoCD/NiFi;
CI/CD: Jenkins 2/Cloudbees CI/Groovy/Python/Docker/Bash/Coverity/NexusIQ/SonarQube/SSH/SSL;
