A successful Business Manager Enterprise Imaging IT:

  • Understands the complex environment (involved systems, standards, integration needs, security needs, etc.) of the Enterprise Imaging projects;
  • Ensures an up-to-date knowledge and technical understating of different Enterprise Imaging projects worldwide delivered by either Agfa or one of its competitors;
  • Ensures an up-to-date knowledge of all products comprising the Agfa Enterprise Imaging solution and their pros and cons against the competition;
  • Ensures an up-to-date knowledge of Imaging Informatics industry trends and standard development;
  • Establishes positive working relationships with local pre-sales personnel, Global Client Engagement, Product Management and Product Marketing teams.

Ability to travel throughout Europe, including overnight travel up to 30% of the time, as appropriate.

As a key member of the Marketing IT Europe team, the Business Manager Enterprise Imaging IT:

  • Manages the Enterprise Imaging portfolio at European level, driving OIT in line with the yearly set targets;
  • Supports and mentors Agfa’s local pre-sales consultants and account managers in their sales activities, including customer presentations and developing customer specific material;
  • Interacts with customers, partners, and other external and internal stakeholders;
  • Manages customer expectations in a true business development mode § Ensures that local pre-sales consultants have access to the Enterprise Imaging architecture best-practices;
  • Works with Product Management, Global Client Engagement, and local sales teams in streamlining RFP response activities;
  • Identifies new industry trends and provides input to the roadmap for the Product Management, Product Marketing and R&D teams;
  • Manages the sales funnel at European level and provides periodic management status update on the project engagements, successes, and failures (win/loss analysis).

What you bring to the table:

  • University or college degree in computer or healthcare-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of complex Imaging IT solutions (such as Regional Medical Imaging Networks):
    • Answering RFP;
    • Development and execution of post RFP demos and presentations;
    • Interaction with regional and national Health IT authorities, consultants and Imaging Informatics industry leaders.
  • Solid understanding of IT: Windows and Linux platforms, database systems (Oracle), networking, load balancing, storage, web servers, user authentication (e.g. LDAP, SSO);
  • Understanding of Healthcare Standards: DICOM, HL7, IHE (SWF, PIX, XDS-I), FHIR is a benefit;
  • Understanding of key clinical use cases and workflows pertaining to Regional Imaging Networks, involving RIS, PACS, VNA, Registries, MPI and other systems is a plus;
  • Superior documentation, presentation, and communication skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
