The Fund Accountant is responsible to administer the portfolios of unit-linked funds deposited within the various custodian banks.
Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
The Fund Accountant is accountable for:
The calculation of Net Asset Valuations for the portfolios of unit-linked funds;
The execution of all controls in relation to the calculation of Net Asset Valuations including the cash & securities reconciliation, the analysis of variances, the reconciliation of units, etc…;
The relation with internal teams to make sure that all transactions in relation to unit-linked funds are booked accurately & timely;
The communication with custodian banks in Luxembourg and abroad to make sure that reporting flows are optimally designed;
The handling of all internal & external queries in relation to the portfolio of unit-linked funds;
The fulfilment of regulatory requirements in relation to the portfolio of unit-linked funds such as EMIR reporting of derivatives, identification of major shareholding reporting, etc…
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Fund Accountant?
Bachelor or Master Degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance or any other relevant field;
An experience in fund accounting or in a similar position would be considered as an asset;
An experience in a life insurance sector position would be considered as an asset;
Pro-active, motivated and eager to learn and grow in fast paced working environment;
Flexible, excellent team player and have a positive attitude towards problem solving issues;
Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and able to work under tight deadlines;
Demonstrate an analytical and rigorous approach as well as being client-service oriented;
Team player, self-organized, open-minded and comfortable in an intercultural environment;
Good command of the Microsoft office tools (especially excel);
Fluency in English is mandatory (any additional European language would be considered as an advantage).
