Your Position

The successful applicant will work closely under two portfolio managers, supporting the management of DPAM’s emerging markets sovereign bond funds via:

• Analysis of sovereign bond issuers from a bottom-up perspective;
• Conducting relative value analysis, generate trade ideas, and ad-hoc research relating to current market topics;
• Supporting development and maintenance of quantitative and market screening tools;
• Meeting with clients and prospective clients;
• Coordinating and attending business trips in portfolio countries.

Your Profile

• Approximately 2 years relevant experience. Ideal candidates will have backgrounds in sovereign credit strategy or credit ratings, rates/FX strategy, or macroeconomics. Buyside experience a plus but not essential;
• Masters degree in a relevant discipline;
• Fluency in English, with the ability to write and articulate clear investment views both internally and externally. Other language skills a plus but not essential;
• Strong technical skills. Proficient user of Excel, Powerpoint and Bloomberg. Programming skills in Python, VBA or SQL are a plus;
• Willingness to travel regularly;
• Most importantly the candidate must have a passion for the asset class, emerging market economies, and general macroeconomics.
