Your Role

Mission: Are you a highly motivated individual who thrives in dynamic environments? We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive our Medium Air pillar within the Atlas Copco brand. Your mission is to develop the product portfolio, oversee business growth across different regions, and ensure sustainable profitability through innovation, value creation for customers, and new sales concepts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an international setting, collaborating closely with customer centers, product companies, suppliers, partners, and cross-divisional teams. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Proposals: Propose and implement plans that support organic growth for the Medium Air pillar under the Atlas Copco brand.
  • Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement solutions related to products, sales channels, and promotions, always aligned with our strategy of sustainable profitable growth.
  • Product Roadmap: Define the roadmap for new product development across our product companies. Engage with customers, sales channels, and internal teams to create unique value propositions and differentiate our product portfolio through customer-centric value.
  • Technology Collaboration: Actively collaborate with our T&I (Technology & Innovation) organization to shape the next generation of technology solutions for our product portfolio, including environmental improvements.
  • Committee Participation: Attend product committee meetings (PCM) and contribute to ideation in product strategy meetings (PSM). Develop robust business cases for your product range.
  • Digitalization for Customer Experiences: Leverage digitalization to create exceptional customer experiences, strengthen our market position, and enhance customer loyalty.
  • Pricing Strategy: Implement a product pricing policy that aligns with our vision of sustainable profitable growth.
  • Marketing Material: Deliver high-quality marketing collateral in collaboration with the communications team.
  • Cross-Divisional Cooperation: Work closely with other divisions, product companies, suppliers, and partners.
  • Training and Events: Organize and deliver product trainings, participate in trade events, and actively stimulate the creation of customer stories and application narratives. Share these through all channels in collaboration with the communication team, challenging our customers to improve their businesses.
  • Sales and Marketing Process Support: Assist customer centers with territory management, dealer development, lead generation, and sales funnel optimization across the Division.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain constant contact with customer centers, monitor business plans, propose corrective actions, and disseminate best practices across the entire Division.
  • New Product Proposals: Investigate and propose new products for existing customers and explore new markets to secure the profitable growth of Portable Air.
  • Holistic Business Analysis: Support the VP Marketing in analyzing business performance not only for specific products but for the entire product range. Propose actions to drive further growth and profitability, collaborating with Customer Centers and other Product Marketing Managers.

To succeed, you will need

Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Compressor Knowledge: Strong understanding of compressors and related markets.
  • Academic Background: An academic degree in marketing, engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Sales and Marketing Experience: Field experience in sales or marketing is a valuable asset.
  • Project Management: Proficient in managing multiple priorities and project execution.
  • Collaboration Skills: Excellent collaboration, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Good knowledge of English.
  • Multicultural Exposure: Preferred experience working in a multicultural and international environment.
  • Customer-Minded and Supportive: Prioritize customer needs and provide excellent support.
  • Willingness to Travel: Comfortable with up to 50% travel.
