Job Description

You will be part of the Cyber Catalyst team in the Security & Cyber Resilience Tribe (Product and Technology Circle). You will commit to the team’s mission to educate all teams to understand, assess, and improve their resilience & continuity risk posture.

You will work closely together with your team and tribe colleagues to steer the long-term security ambition and vision and translate it into concrete initiatives. 

As our Cyber Resilience and Business Continuity Expert, drawing on strong initiative and the ability to influence across multiple stakeholder groups, you:

  • Encourage a collaborative environment that motivates individuals and teams to treat security as a collective responsibility.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement robust security frameworks, policies, and guidelines that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish systematic assessments and measurements, providing teams with clear, actionable insights for improving their risk posture.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships with stakeholders, promoting a culture of openness, ownership, and accountability in security-related matters.
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate controls through audits and assessments, pinpointing areas where enhancements can be made.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on risk posture, incident patterns, and mitigation strategies to senior leaders and relevant stakeholders.
  • By building an effective network and driving progress through influence rather than direct authority, you ensure responsibilities are clearly understood and adopted, guiding the organization toward a mature and resilient security process.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Define and monitor the Business Continuity Management roadmap.
  • Proactively report risks to risk teams and identify/assess potential risks with significant business impacts.
  • Manage and coordinate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to identify critical business operations and dependencies.
  • Facilitate the implementation and execution of recovery strategies in coordination with operational teams.
  • Coordinate and challenge product owners on resilience and continuity effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enhance Business continuity, Disaster Recovery plans and documentations.
  • Identify critical third parties, perform self-assessment to mitigate business impacts, and review contractual topics.
  • Ensure systemic environment is in line with resilience best practices and local regulations.
  • Organize, coordinate, and report on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing, improving business continuity maturity.
  • Provide support to external audits (from regulators and certifications) and customer requests in liaison to resilience & continuity activities.
  • Conduct & report on periodic risk assessments and continuity plan reviews for critical infrastructure as per the regulatory schedule.

Our ideal Cyber Resilient and Business Continuity Specialist...

  • ... has proven experience in managing security teams or related roles, with a solid understanding of security principles, risk management, and compliance. 
  • Master's Degree.
  • You are passionate about security innovation and want to create impact. 
  • You have excellent team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • You have 5-10 years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster recovery, Vendor Resilience, and crisis leadership.
  • You work autonomously, are result-oriented, and have the self-confidence to steer for delivery.
  • You have comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to information security, such as ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, or CIS Controls.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • You demonstrate experience in developing and implementing security frameworks, policies, and guidelines.
  • You are familiar with security technologies and tools.
  • You have highly developed written and oral communications skills in English.
