The Vice-President FP&A and Business Partnering oversees and leads the strategic direction of the Business Control and FP&A teams within Finance, by providing financial oversight and control of the Telenet businesses, whilst ensuring the financial integrity of the Telenet P&L and Balance Sheet. The role is key responsible in the financial delivery of key targets, the Budget/Forecast/3-year plan/8-year plan planning cycle and monthly reporting on all key financial and non-financial metrics. He/she ensures strong governance, reporting and tracking on key capital allocation decision making, challenging and providing guidance to the Telenet Senior Leadership Team in order to support them in meeting their Financial and Operational Targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business departments to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's goals. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive execution of business strategies;
- Act as the primary liaison between the business departments and executive leadership. Ensure that the needs and insights of each department are communicated effectively and integrated into the overall business strategy;
- Work closely with business units to identify areas for operational improvement. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across departments;
- Accountable for the delivery of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results of Telenet business;
- Responsible for leading the Plan of Record (3-year plan) and collaborating on the strategic planning Confidential Internal;
- Responsible for leading Telenet FP&A consolidation process, encompassing KPIs, Profit and Loss and Capex metrics, on a timely and accurate basis for CEO, Senior Leadership Team, Liberty Global (shareholder) and Board reviews;
- This involves:
- Working with Portfolio and Strategy lead & Senior Leadership Team to establish strategic goals;
- Regular interaction with domains to ensure timeliness and quality of data and a comprehensive understanding of commercial and operational drivers;
- Leading the performance monitoring vs roll, budget, POR and LRR;
- Monthly performance reviews with Senior Leadership Team members;
- Drive focus on working capital.
- Provides leadership across the Finance leadership team in conjunction with the CFO in driving strategic and tactical decision making, defining finance strategy/vision and priorities and driving engagement across wider Finance function and on M&A projects;
- Accountable for the review, challenges and recommendations on all allocation decisions across Telenet capex portfolio;
- Works with Senior Leadership Team to ensure financial and or business performance is tracked, analyzed and any deviation from plan is mitigated where possible;
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business partnerships and departmental initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies;
- Provides leadership, professional development, and engagement to a team that provides proactive financial & performance analytics.

In your role as VP Business Partnering & FP&A, you will collaborate closely with (non-exhaustive list):
- Chief Financial Officer of Telenet (you will report directly to the CFO);
- Business departments (your primary internal clients);
- Financial Controlling & Tax;
- Treasury;
- Legal;
- Strategy & M&A;
- VP FP&A and Business Partnering at Liberty Global and their team (for alignment on planning, forecasting and to identify continuous efficiency and synergy opportunities).
Your Profile Education & Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent from a recognized university;
- Additional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CIMA are a strong plus.
Knowledge & Experience
- At least 10 years of combined experience in controlling, planning, forecasting, reporting, and accounting;
- At least 5 years of people management experience, with a proven track record in growing and leading larger teams;
- Experience in Telecom, Media, or Entertainment is an asset.

- Continual enhancement of forecasting process & accuracy, and set financial direction for medium- and long-term planning exercises;
- Communicates financial results effectively across the company up to and at EC level and to Liberty Global (shareholder) CFO and team;
- Builds working relationships with key stakeholders across Finance and act as Liberty Global (shareholder) Finance SPOC;
- Assumes delegated responsibilities for FP&A and Business controlling CFO duties;
