About the role
As the IT Infrastructure PMO & Demand Management Lead you will oversee the day-to-day operations of IT Infrastructure PMO, ensuring the successful delivery of IT Infrastructure project through effective project governance and consistent application of project management methodologies and framework.
Who you’ll work with
You will establish and manage the IT Infrastructure demand intake and prioritization process in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with a global team of IT infrastructure experts, project managers, and departmental leaders. Together, you’ll ensure that all infrastructure initiatives align with strategic objectives and that resources are deployed efficiently to meet business needs.
What you’ll do
- Leading the IT Infrastructure PMO function, ensuring governance, methodology adoption and successful project delivery;
- Managing the demand intake and prioritization process in collaboration with IT Domain Leads and Resource Managers;
- Developing and maintaining templates and dashboards to support project portfolio visibility and decision making;
- Providing leadership and guidance to project managers and teams, supporting them in navigating risks, dependencies and execution challenges;
- Communicating regularly with executive stakeholders on portfolio health, upcoming initiatives and delivery risks;
- Supporting IT Financial planning and ensuring alignment between budgets and project investments.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration related fields; PMP/PMI certification is a plus;
- 8+ years of experience in IT Project and Portfolio Management, with 3+ years in a leadership or PMO role;
- Expert-level knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid) and portfolio governance;
- Proven experience with IT demand management, resource planning;
- Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools;
- Ability to mentor, coach and effectively transfer expertise to others;
- Significant financial acumen and ability to plan and manage CAPEX expenditures;
- Experience working in a global organisation in Pharma environment is a plus;
- Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.
