The Accounting &T ax Supervisor supports, and in conjunction with the Accounting & Tax Manager, manages a team of staff, ensuring that the provision of all client work for the portfolio is delivered on time and to a high standard in order to meet productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Managers on coaching, evaluate and motivate team members;
• Check the workload, planning and productivity of each team member;
• Train team members in accordance with company policies and ensure internal procedures are followed;
• Manage full client’s portfolio through expertise and team management in close collaboration with the team;
• Global review of the firm’s clients' accounts;
• Review of VAT & tax returns;
• Coordination and follow up client audits;
• Manage the customer relationship and expectations, handle complaints/escalations to ensure regular communication to maintain a good relationship with all customers;
• Coordinates the onboarding of new clients;
• Based on his/her deep knowledge of procedures and systems he drives standardization and process improvements;
• Act as a point of reference and expertise for his team.

Key Requirements

• Fluent knowledge of English (C1/C2) and fluent knowledge of French or Dutch;
• Bachelor in Accounting - Master in Tax or equivalent;
• At least 5 years' experience in accounting firms;
• Strong People Management Skills and team player;
• Focus and determination to meet goals (both individual and team goals);
• Ability to meet high quality standards;
• Problem solving and hands on attitude;
• Acts with integrity.
