The Business Architect will actively support the different BEAT teams and contribute to the key programs & initiatives of the B2B circle. The key activities of this transversal function entail: business capability assessment, business impact & operating model analysis, architecturally shaping initiatives early in their life cycle, architectural alignment with Product & Technology oriented teams and colleagues (such as the Solution Architecture team) and propagation of the architectural blueprint and roadmap within the organization.

Your responsibilities as a business architect

• You capture the strategic and tactical enterprise goals and translate them in a set of underpinning business capabilities/functionalities.
• You assess how projects and initiatives should be incorporated in our existing business operating model and support the organization in major operating model transformation. You are able to assess the business process change impact & drive business process change simplification.
• You participate in the shaping, requirements gathering and solutioning process of B2B related transformation projects. You assure the alignment with the business architecture and architectural guard rails & principles.
• You consolidate a comprehensive "B2B business architecture blueprint", in close collaboration with our IT and Network colleagues. This blueprint is a crucial reference document and provides objective guidance for roadmap prioritization, project solutioning and key decision taking.
• You apply a consistent approach and methodology for capturing and maintaining the business architecture deliverables of the B2B organization in a structural way. You assure the overall business architecture ambition and objectives are communicated within the broader organization.

• You stay in touch with forward-looking technologies, methodologies and trends. You are familiar with enterprise change & architecture frameworks. You have a background in AI and Digital and their adoption in a corporate environment.
• You have a creative touch and are able to visualize abstract concepts and create high-level models to extend and mature the business architecture. You have experience in modeling business processes and in applying industry best practices into business solutions.
• You are a pragmatic ambassador and an excellent communicator with the ability to address (situationally) all levels of the organization with your written and verbal communication. You consider business architecture as foundational and supporting rather than dogmatic.
• You are open for change and familiar with working in a dynamic project based environment with changing agendas and priorities; your proven agile and IT/telecom background is definitely a plus.
• You are used to working in a customer and service focused organization and you are familiar with corporate B2B environments.
