WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- You will be the go-to expert on SimCorp’s alternative investment solutions within the sales team, leading sales engagements, advising clients and colleagues, and driving growth in the alternatives space.
- Identifying and qualifying leads in the alternative investments sector, building a robust pipeline to meet sales targets.
- Developing compelling business cases that demonstrate tangible benefits for alternative investment managers, such as reduced cost of ownership, enhanced investor transparency, deeper insights and optimized operational efficiency.
- Managing the sales cycle for complex solutions, leveraging internal resources and expertise to address client needs.
- Maintaining accurate records in Salesforce and other tools to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
- Organizing and facilitating product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept sessions focused on alternative investment workflows.
- Creating and owning client proposals, RFP responses, contracts, and documentation, adhering to company protocols.
- Staying current on trends in alternative investments, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows relevant to alternative investments.
- Supporting post-sale activities and identifying further opportunities for growth.
- Contributing to thought leadership initiatives within the alternative investments community.

- Deep understanding of the alternative investments landscape, including market trends, regulatory requirements, vendor landscape and investor expectations.
- Proven track record in solution-based sales within alternative investments or related financial services.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline.
- Ability to qualify opportunities, analyze client needs, and develop tailored sales strategies for alternative investment managers.
- Experience navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with institutional investors.
