As we expand our capabilities, we’re seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer with a strong foundation in cybersecurity to help us build secure, high-performance airborne systems.

Your responsibilities

  • As part of our Avionics embedded systems team, you’ll play a key role in developing secure software for avionics platforms, ensuring compliance with stringent aerospace standards and protecting systems against evolving cyber threats. You’ll work at the intersection of safety, performance, and security - where every line of code matters;
  • Develop and maintain embedded software for avionics displays and computing modules in the C language;
  • Implement cybersecurity features such as secure boot, cryptographic services, secure data storage, and secure communications;
  • Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis in compliance with DO-326A/ED-202A and related standards;
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware teams, and certification specialists to ensure secure and certifiable designs;
  • Support software verification and validation activities in accordance with DO-178C and cybersecurity assurance levels;
  • Stay current with aerospace cybersecurity trends, regulatory updates, and emerging threats.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field;
  • More than 3 years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in aerospace or defense;
  • Strong understanding of avionics systems, RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, Integrity), and safety-critical software development;
  • Experience with cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and cryptographic libraries;
  • Familiarity with aerospace cybersecurity standards (DO-326A, DO-355A, DO-356A) and safety standards (DO-178C, DO-254);
  • Experience with secure firmware update mechanisms and hardware root of trust;
  • Knowledge of avionics data buses and protocols (ARINC 429, ARINC 653, CAN, AFDX);
  • Background in avionics, defense or dual-use technology development;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a detail-oriented mindset;
