The Accountant will support the EMEA operation through the effective and efficient analysis and entry of accounting data into our 2 main Belgian entities according to the corporate and local policies, and taking responsibility for the entire bookkeeping of our smaller EMEA entities and branches.

What You Will Do at Graco

• Accounting data entry in the Belgian entities: invoices, expenses, bank, various…;
• Accounting data analysis & reconciliations in the Belgian entities;
• Month-end close entries in the Belgian entities: payroll, accruals, prepaids,…;
• Responsible for the entire bookkeeping of at least one small EMEA entity and one branch;
• Maintaining & updating the applicable EMEA VAT transactions;
• Participate in various accounting projects on efficiency, globalization, and digitalization;
• Support the AP Supervisor and Accounting Manager in the day-to-day operations;
• Follow training & webinars on various EMEA-specific compliance topics.

What You Will Bring to Graco

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance & accounting;
• 3-5 years of experience in international accounting & VAT;
• Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Word, and Excel;
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language;
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
