As Solution Architect, will you help set up the ideal Enterprise Architecture so that we can confidently walk down the Telenet roadmap with all our typical enthusiasm.

Your tasks as an Enterprise Solution Architect

As Solution Architect, you will help build Telenet's future application and information systems, in line with our vision and strategy. You will join the Business to Business, Financial and Corporate Solution Architecture team with a focus on guiding business initiatives from funnel to delivery, with the main focus on initiatives for small, medium and large companies (SME & LE) as our customers. In addition, you will be responsible for:

• meeting frequently with internal and external stakeholders to get a good comprehension of the business needs and requirements and translate them into solutions design alternatives;
• enabling the decision on the best solution design alternative to move forward;
• creating the complete architectural solution design for a project, together with the internal and external stakeholders. You analyze the needs, translate them into a final solution design and formulate a transition plan from as-is, to MVP and eventually to a target solution;
• contributing to our long-term vision on application modernization and rationalization, taking into account the impact on our own organization and market evolutions;
• enforcing our guardrails within the organization, in order to guarantee an application landscape that can evolve, grow and be maintained;
• helping stakeholders understand complexity and costs, challenging business requirements, providing alternatives and helping to optimize our business and customer values.

You always map out the full cost picture and help to define the feasibility and first workable version.

Our ideal Solution Architect...

• Is communicatively strong and loves to interact with business stakeholders to understand the needs in full;
• Builds bridges across our various departments and can explain complex issues easily;
• Can translate business needs to robust end-to-end solution designs in a complex and large application landscape;
• Has sufficient technical knowledge, in particular on application systems and SDLC methodologies, to interact with the development teams and review technical designs;
• Gets energy from our 'agile' working method and can work autonomously;
• Is and remains eager to learn in a constantly changing and challenging environment;
• Loves to think forward and contribute to the application landscape vision and strategy;
• Has a bachelor or master degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise solution architecture;
• Speaks fluent English;
• Knowledge of the telecom operating model is a big plus.
