Job Description

Are you ready to join the forefront of technology as a Data & AI Governance Expert in Netcompany?

As a Data & AI Governance Expert, you will:

  • Design and oversee comprehensive Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes to ensure accuracy and reliability;
  • Establish a robust Data Governance framework, covering data lineage, observability, and metadata management (Data Catalogue);
  • Lead AI Governance initiatives, specifically focusing on ethical frameworks, fairness, and strict compliance with the EU AI Act;
  • Ensure data protection and privacy, developing policies for GDPR compliance, including anonymization and consent management;
  • Architect data access and security, designing RBAC/ABAC models and collaborating with IT security on encryption and logging standards;
  • Actively manage Data & AI Risk, participating in cross-functional project teams to mitigate technical and regulatory vulnerabilities;
  • Drive a data-driven culture by defining best practices and conducting workshops for stakeholders across the organization;
  • Translate complex requirements into high-quality technical documentation and assist in the deployment and configuration of data systems.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 7+ years of relevant experience;
  • Extensive experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related strategic field within large-scale environments;
  • Deep technical knowledge of Data Warehouse design, ETL tools, and modeling methodologies;
  • Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases, alongside experience in OLAP and data mining;
  • Expertise in regulatory frameworks, specifically GDPR and the emerging requirements of the EU AI Act;
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work fluently in English (C1 level) and integrate into multicultural teams;
  • A high degree of discretion and integrity, essential for handling personal and confidential data for international organizations.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

  • Experience working within or for European Institutions or large international public bodies;
  • Hands-on experience with specific Data Observability and Lineage tools to monitor real-time pipeline health.
