Description

We currently have a vacancy for a UX Designer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Analyze business needs in UX;
• Facilitates participatory design, design sprints, conversational design;
• Prepares quantitative and qualitative research and analysis in UX;
• Task flows;
• Design UX and services for our online content;
• Synthesis of UX research, web analytics data, as well as surveys, legacy and organizational goals.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Expertise in Usability and accessibility standards;
• Experience as a UX consultant, UX researcher, Digital communicator or equivalent;
• Experience with UI Design tools - Sketch, Adobe Suite XD or equivalent;
• Knowledge of web technologies and standards (e.g. HTML, XML, CSS, SEO, web analytics);
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility (WCAG) standards;
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS;
• Knowledge of prototyping, wireframing, interaction flows, information architecture and user testing;
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like JIRA, Confluence;
• Excellent command of the English language.
