The Accountant will support the EMEA operation through the effective and efficient analysis and entry of accounting data into our 2 main Belgian entities according to the corporate and local policies, and taking responsibility for the entire bookkeeping of our smaller EMEA entities and branches.

What You Will Do at Graco

• Accounting data entry in the Belgian entities: invoices, expenses, bank, various…
• Accounting data analysis & reconciliations in the Belgian entities.
• Month-end close entries in the Belgian entities: payroll, accruals, prepaids,…
• Responsible for the entire bookkeeping of at least one small EMEA entity and one branch.
• Maintaining & updating the applicable EMEA VAT transactions.
• Participate in various accounting projects on efficiency, globalization, and digitalization.
• Support the AP Supervisor and Accounting Manager in the day-to-day operations.
• Follow training & webinars on various EMEA-specific compliance topics.

What You Will Bring to Graco

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance & accounting.
• 3-5 years of experience in international accounting & VAT.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
