At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Application Cloud Architect to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Analyze and integrate different information systems or building blocks;
- Execute data analysis and data modelling;
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
- Design/development/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications;
- Participate in the deployment and configuration of the system (s);
- Production of software architecture documents;
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the Project Team;
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
- Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
- Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud if applicable;
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Bachelor's degree and 13 years of experience OR Master and 9 years of experience (experience cannot overlap with studies);
- Hold one or more of the following certifications is an advantage:
- Oracle Certified Professional Java Application Developer;
- Angular Certification;
- Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP);
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect;
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
- Google Professional Cloud Architect;
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in applications design and JAVA development;
- At least 2 years of recent experience in architecture best practices and patterns;
- No less than 2 years of recent experience in Angular/JS development;
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience in relational DBMS (especially Oracle DB, SQL);
- At least 2 years of recent experience in interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture);
- At least 2 years of recent experience in Agile and Agile toolbox (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Balsamiq, etc.);
- Very good knowledge of the following technologies: Hibernate, GIT, MAVEN, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST;
- Excellent communicator and capability to speak to business and technical audiences in public institutions;
- Good redaction skills;
- Strong organizational and time-management skills;
- Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
- Experience with the following is considered an advantage:
- Understanding of European Commission's building blocks like EU Login, eUI, CNS and e-Delivery;
- Knowledge of serverless development and NoSQL databases;
- Experience and specific expertise in A/B, Blue/Green and Canary deployments.
- Proficiency in English language at a minimum C1 level;
- Proficiency in French language at a minimum B1 level is considered an asset.
