HR Business Partner

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters for the BYD Europe Belgium entity (Denza), and also Belux region;
- Establish and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with Belgium labor laws and also under the guidance of BYD HQ policy;
- Coordinate with our HQ HR team (China/Hungary/Netherlands) to implement corporate HR practices in recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and employee engagement etc.;
- Manage recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, and onboarding;
- Manage employment contracts, employee documentation, and HR administration with SSC team’ support;
- Manage coordinating payroll and benefits with external providers and SSC team;
- Manage local employee relations, workplace compliance, and health & safety policies;
- Contribute to culture building and employee experience in a growing cross-cultural environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- 5+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in an international company;
- Good understanding of Belgian labor law and HR practices;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a start-up environment;
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Dutch and Chinese is a plus;
- Experience working with Chinese companies or in a multicultural setting is a plus;
- With management leadership experience with 5~10 members of HR team is a plus;
- Belgium HR practice is a must.
