Within Degroof Petercam Asset Management (DPAM), the Global Sales department plays a key role in developing our client base and supporting existing relationships. The Client Servicing and RFP teams are central to this effort, contributing both to the quality of client interactions and to winning new business.
As a VIE, you will take on a dual role across both teams. You will work in a dynamic and international environment, interacting with Sales, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance, and other key stakeholders. You will be involved in day-to-day activities while also contributing to broader initiatives such as data, market intelligence, and AI-related topics.
The role is designed to provide a strong learning experience, with responsibilities that will evolve over time based on your development and involvement.
Your position
You will support both Client Servicing and RFP activities, while progressively building your understanding of the business.
Client Servicing Support
- Support the day-to-day follow-up of client requests and reporting needs;
- Assist in onboarding and documentation processes, including KYC/AML aspects;
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery to clients;
- Contribute to the preparation of client reporting and communication materials.
RFP & Sales Support
- Support the preparation of responses to client requests (RFPs, RFIs, DDQs), mainly on standard or less complex sections;
- Collect, analyse, and structure data (performance, portfolio characteristics, ESG metrics);
- Maintain and update the RFP content library and documentation;
- Assist in drafting and reviewing client materials (presentations, standard answers);
- Contribute to KYC/AML questionnaires and due diligence requests.
Projects & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to projects related to data structuring, process improvement, and AI applications;
- Support market and competitor analysis (flows, positioning, ESG trends);
- Help improve internal processes, templates, and ways of working;
- Participate in building and maintaining internal knowledge and reporting frameworks.
Your profile
We are looking for a motivated and curious candidate who is eager to learn and contribute in a hands-on environment.
Hard skills
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field;
- Strong interest in financial markets and asset management;
- Good understanding of financial concepts (knowledge of ESG is a plus);
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
- Fluency in English and French (additional languages are a plus).

A first experience (internship) in asset management, banking, or a related field is a plus.
