Mission

The Senior functional Expert provides strategic business analysis services to business partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap.

The Senior IT Functional Expert plays a key role in supporting the definition and implementation of Finance, Accounting, Procurement and Fund Finance processes in close collaboration with business stakeholders and external partners.

The Senior Functional Expert is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level.

Responsabilities

  • Strong expertise in Corporate and Fund Finance & Accounting, including GL, AP/AR, closing, reporting, budgeting and forecasting;
  • Act as a trusted business partner, managing stakeholder relationships with the ability to challenge requirements and proposed solutions constructively;
  • Analyze and improve Finance, Accounting and Procurement processes, identifying inefficiencies and optimization opportunities;
  • Contribute to the design, selection and implementation of end-to-end Finance solutions;
  • Lead or contribute to transversal and transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business priorities;
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, developers, vendors and system integrators;
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and support development, testing (QA), deployment and change management;
  • Manage project planning, timelines, priorities and workload estimation, acting as a liaison between users and project teams;
  • Drive process adoption, user satisfaction and continuous improvement;
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, leadership and accountability for deliverables and outcomes.

Profile

  • You have a Master Degree in Computer Engineering/Economics/Business Administration;
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in business/functional analysis;
  • At least 5 years' experience in Asset Management;
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills;
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations;
  • The ability to work closely with users to challenge and determine acceptable solutions;
  • Excellent documentation and data/process visualization skills;
  • Mastering Agile Methodology;
  • Capacity to build trust and confidence with the business and the team members;
  • Very good communication and writing skills;
  • Pragmatic, proactive, rigorous, and process-respectful;
  • Stress resistant;

Candidate criteria

Education

  • Master's Degree I/Bac+4.

Minimum level of experience required

  • 10-15 years.

Languages

  • English (C1 - Fluent);
  • French (C1 - Fluent).
