Specify, design, develop, test, and maintain UI of operational software for the automated remote control of the SES Ground Gateway systems;
Develop and execute automated BDD (Behaviour-driven development) testing;
Develop high-quality, comprehensive software designs and architectures for UIs with strong focus on beautiful user interface and experience meeting operational requirements;
Support the transition of the new products into operations ensuring the proper tools and training are in place including life cycle support.

In order to achieve the outcomes described above, we believe you will have the following:
Talented in communication;
Strong foundation in computer science and a wide range of experience in many aspects of software development (design patterns, application development, network authentication, security systems, microservice architecture, layout technologies, browser testing and debugging, web development);
UI/UX view and strong motivation to develop understanding of interactions of all the disciplines involved in the ground gateway operations (Antenna, Antenna control systems, RF components, modems etc.), or a strong motivation to develop them;
Ability to work within an Agile/Scrum ecosystem;
Automate the development lifecycle by employing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD).
Preferred Education & Experience (a combination of education and experience will be considered):
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering;
2 years of relevant work experience;
Expert working with Git, GitLab and/or Jenkins;
Fluency in English.
Knowledge in programming in at least one of the following languages (our current development is based on Go, if you don’t have relevant specific knowledge on Go SES will offer required on-job training):
Comfortable working with the following technologies and toolchains:
Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL;
Interface layers: Kafka, REST, gRPC, ZMQ;
Web servers (e.g., Apache, NGINX);
Virtualized & containerized app deployments.
Understanding of cloud orchestration tools, technologies, and API standards (AWS, Azure, Google, Cloud, Kubernetes);
Hands on experience with current markup technologies and presentational layout technologies and frameworks (HTML5, CSS3, Sass);
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
