Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Application Architect (Java) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
Data analysis and data modelling;
Production of software architecture documents;
Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture;
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud;
Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

Requirements

University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
At least 5 years of experience with Java (both with J2SE and J2EE), relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.) and SQL Language;
At least 3 years of experience with web services (REST and SOAP), with expertise in the design and development;
At least 3 years of experience in developing secure web applications;
At least 2 years of experience with Spring Framework, Apache Maven or equivalent and Angular2;
At least 2 years of experience in architecture and design of information systems and in the development of graphical user interfaces;
Hands on experience with JIRA and GIT;
At least 1 year of experience with WebLogic 14;
Excellent knowledge of interoperability technology (web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
Excellent knowledge of Object Oriented Architecture;
Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
Good knowledge of Enterprise Architecture;
Excellent command of the English language.
