As Corporate Credit Manager, you are responsible for managing credit risk across the organization, ensuring timely payments from customers and optimizing the working capital embedded in customers receivables. The successful candidate will oversee credit policies and procedures, collaborate with sales teams to assess creditworthiness of new clients, and develop strategies to mitigate credit risks. You take ownership of the domains of credit management, credit insurance and customer finance solutions.

As a natural networker within both internal and external teams, you work closely with HQ and regional sales and finance teams, and you manage external relations with credit insurance carriers, payment and debt collection agencies and financing solutions providers.

Tasks:

• Develop and implement global credit policies and procedures to manage the company’s credit risk;
• Together with the Head of Finance and the VP of Sales, determine and monitor KPI’s, manage major risk files and high-volume customers, credit claims and legal cases;
• Work with regional credit managers and sales teams to evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing clients and establish credit limits based on credit scoring models and in-depth analysis of financial data of our customers;
• Work with accounting (order-to-cash) and collection officers (both internal and external) to ensure efficient, smooth collection of accounts receivable;
• Provide training and guidance to credit analysts and other team members;
• Monitor credit risks and identify potential problems, taking corrective actions as necessary;
• Ensure timely payment by customers, and effectively manage credit limits and monitor overdue payments to continuously improve the company’s working capital;
• Help define collection and dunning procedures, manage payment and debt collection activities of our external collection partners;
• Develop relations with external financing partners and institutions, enabling us to offer competitive financing solutions as an integral part of our value proposition to our customers;
• Manage our customer financing portfolio together with external financing partners and institutions;
• Build and maintain the relationship with credit insurance partners.

Profile:

• Master’s in finance, accounting, or a related field;
• Solid experience in credit management, preferably in a global organization, covering credit risk management and credit insurance, as well as customer financing solutions;
• Strong knowledge of credit policies and procedures, credit risk management, and financial analysis;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments;
• Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing demands;
• Proficient in MS Office and credit management software (knowledge of Debitex is a plus);
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred.
