As Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Close collaboration with IT Services to assist in the architecture, design and build of the cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure;
Lead the requirements gathering, analysis, design and implementation of solutions in public Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS);
Implement cloud and/or hybrid systems that support the business goals;
Participate in architecture and design sessions related to cloud strategy;
Assist the PMO in driving the successful completion of relevant IT transformation projects;
Drive optimisation, testing and security to improve cloud infrastructure capability and resilience;
Review, approve and configure connectivity of Advanzia infrastructure with third party partners and service providers;
Ensure that proposed solutions by service providers are aligned with Advanzia’s infrastructure architecture guidelines and roadmap.
What’s your background?
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, with public cloud or hybrid cloud experience;
Experience in automation via bash/shell scripting;
Experience with Infrastructure/Configuration-as-Code (CAC) concepts using tools like Terraform and Ansible;
Experience with building and maintaining Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and public cloud (AWS, Azure) environments;
Excellent knowledge of Azure Infrastructure Services;
Experience with M365 and MS Azure VDI architecture, design and maintenance;
Practical experience with AWS/Azure/OpenStack infrastructure, including logging and auditing, VPC and network structure, IAM-based security models and must be highly familiar with a wide range of cloud services;
Practical experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes container-based designs, configuration and maintenance;
Knowledge and experience with internet routing protocols and concepts;
Experience working with corporate cybersecurity on infrastructure or applications security compliance and remediation activities (i.e. risk acceptance and security configuration baseline);
Ability to solve complex infrastructure using appropriate diagnostic and monitoring tools;
Exposure to DevOps tools and environment.
