Context

Within our Private Banking department in Brussels/Wallonia, we are currently looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager, responsible for a portfolio of French speaking high net worth clients.

Your Position

• As Discretionary Portfolio Manager, you are responsible for building and managing on a day-to-day basis portfolios for high net worth clients. You implement tailor made investment strategies;
• You will ensure that the portfolios comply with the chosen strategy and with decisions which are taken in various investment committees;
• Alignment with Model Porfolios and follow up of tailor made portfolios is a key part of your role as portfolio manager;
• You closely follow up the performance of the entrusted portfolios and, respect the risk profile of the client;
• You are an active member of product selection committees (equities, bonds,Third Party Funds);
• You provide technical and commercial support to the Private Bankers and are responsible for the preparation of regular client meetings to inform them about the performance of their portfolio, how the investment strategy evolves and how this is executed in the portfolio. This includes preparation of financial offers, building reports, preparing presentations, regular client contacts etc.;
• You actively help grow the assets under management by supporting the Private bankers in increasing their share of wallet and prospection.

Your Profile

• You have a master degree in business, finance or economics. You are passionate about Finance and you have achieved excellent academic results;
• You have an in-depth understanding of the financial markets thanks to at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• You are fluent in French and English, knowledge of Dutch is an asset;
• You will work in a dynamic and openminded working environment;
• You are team player with an entrepreneurial attitude and high ethical standards;
• You have a client-oriented and solution-driven mindset;
• You take initiative, are pro-active and have the ability to work independently;
• You have strong analytical skills and a well-developed curiosity.
