We are looking for a passionate and committed Project Lead to join our Manufacturing Applications team.

You will shape and support our Industry 4.0 applications landscape by implementing modern and future-proof IT technologies. You will work with the business process team in our assembly factories, IT project leaders, business project leaders, business key users, IT teams, and suppliers.

You have an IT/IS background and a very strong analytical mindset to understand the complex environment you will work in. You are curious and interested in keeping up with Industry 4.0 technology.

You will become part of the Manufacturing Applications team. They are responsible for the lifecycle of manufacturing operations systems and applications in our assembly factories, bridging OT and IT.

In your mission you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify their business needs and requirements;
  • Contribute in defining a clear product roadmap;
  • Analyze needs and requirements to ensure clarity, consistency, and feasibility;
  • Identify gaps and dependencies between the current business processes and the functionalities provided by our products;
  • Assess the impact and risks associated with the gaps and dependencies. Propose changes and solutions to bridge the gaps and mitigate the risks;
  • Translate functional requirements towards technical teams and collaborate on designing the right solution design and evaluation;
  • Support and follow-up user acceptance testing and evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented solutions;
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in business processes, systems, and practices and recommending adjustments as needed;
  • Prepare and guide the Go Live of our MES System in different product companies;
  • Manage change requests for our products;
  • Prepare and maintain documentation;
  • Follow up on budget costs;
  • Safeguard that a qualititave and secure delivery will be ensured;
  • Report on a regular basis progress on relevant forums (Steerco, Council).

Education:

  • You have degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in Production IT technology;
  • Project management and IT technical certifications or equivalent are an asset.

Experience:

  • You have preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in different domains of IT/IS and in a production environment;
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing & Warehouse Operating Systems (WMS, MES, APS, …) is a plus;
  • Knowledge pf ERP systems is a plus;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of technical solution design is a must;
  • Knowledge of major data management concepts and integration techniques is a must;
  • Project-based work (agile preferred), cross-function collaboration;
  • Experience in making and managing a budget.

Knowledge:

  • Java programming language;
  • Dashboarding and BI applications (Power Bi, …);
  • Cloud computing, Azure cloud technology;
  • Storage technology, databases.
