Job description

Reporting to the Business Control Manager EMEA, the overhead controller will have specific responsibility for the high-level controlling of EMEA fixed costs and detailed controlling of the EMEA divisional costs. Furthermore, the jobholder will support the EMEA functional VP’s in their cost tracking, budgeting and savings initiatives.

Responsibilities

Provide insights in financial information and strongly support a fact-based decision-making process
Participate in the monthly closing process ensuring rock solid accounting
Conduct variance analysis and collect explanations regarding all monthly differences for salary and other overhead costs
Ensure that all reporting is done in full compliance with legal and Company requirements
Work on continuous improvement and simplifications of processes, tools and systems

Requirements

Experience in finance - controlling, accounting, financial consulting, audit
Sound FP&A experience (budget, forecasting, variance analysis etc)
Agile with, Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI
Proactive, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, whilst providing exemplary customer service
Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus.
