We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Agfa Synaps team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the synthetic print media market and a proven track record in sales and/or business development.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends;
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate Agfa Synaps products.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets;
  • Identify and engage potential customers, build a robust sales pipeline, and convert leads into sales.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers;
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences in the sector to network and promote Agfa Synaps products.

Product Positioning:

  • Conduct competitor position analysis and develop value propositions for the product line;
  • Enhance brand awareness and implement strategies to attract new customers.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities;
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on business development progress and opportunities.

Profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the print media or related industry;
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth;
  • Strong understanding of the synthetic print media market;
  • Excellent business sense, communication, and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Willingness to travel as required;
  • Fluent in English. Any other language is a plus.
