At PSI Metals Belgium with modern offices in Brussels we are looking for a further C++ SOFTWARE ENGINEER (F/M/D).

Type: Full-time

MAIN TASKS

Further development of the standard applications of 'PSImetals Planning' within a highly qualified international team of PSI software engineers and developers;
Translation of customer requirements into the improvement of our software;
Integration of the PSImetals Planning with other applications of PSI Metals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree in one of the following areas – civil engineering, computer science, applied mathematics…;
We want to speak to experienced professionals in software development as well as to graduates in one of the above fields who are motivated to be part of the development team for a standard product pioneer in its field;
Knowledge or experience in the metals industry will be highly appreciated;
Experience in the following programming languages is a must: C++, Java;
Experience in PLSQL or in Python is a plus;
Knowledge in operations research, optimization techniques and optimization engines would be very helpful;
We expect strong social skills, a proactive work approach and independence in task performing;
Travelling on a moderate basis to our other offices or to customer sites will be required;
The communication language is predominantly English, any other languages are welcome.
