As a Senior Logistics Specialist at Cytiva, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of goods to our customers globally. You will also be supporting and guiding the local team of logistics specialist in their daily work to ensure priorities are aligned with the business needs. What you’ll do

• Be responsible for all logistics transaction from Belgium to end customers in your specific region-ensuring that our Customers received their orders on time and in full;
• Manage shipments to internal and external customers;
• Be a senior professional that guides the local team in their daily work to ensure that daily operations are prioritizing where it is most needed;
• Follow up on deviations due to delivery, quality or cost and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate issues and ensure delivery;
• Function as an active stakeholder in the relationship with external forwarders;
• Function as an interface between internal customer service and warehouse operations;
• Support global and/or local projects as SME in logistics.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, or supply chain management or at least 8 years of work life experience within logistics or similar;
• Proven leaderships capabilitie;
• Experience working with Oracle or other ERP systems is an advantage;
• Experience working with dangerous goods is an advantage;
• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced changing environment;
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, global team environment;
• Fluency in English, both written and oral, is required. Fluency in Dutch or Flemish is desired.
