Job Purpose:

Business assessment of new and running OE (Original Equipment), which means businesses, business opportunities and other case studies.

Main role is to coordinate the OE team, with TCE (Technical Center Europe), LSCM (Supply Chain) and PCM (Product Category Management) functions in preparing the business case analysis and proposals to Consumer OE Sales management. Team coordination consists of giving proper directions to the Sales teams and gathering necessary information to prepare the scenarios for decision making.

Responsibilities:

Business Assessment

  • Lead the Cross Functional team (CFT) of OE Sales and Engineering, PCM, Finance, TCE, LSCM and Aftermarket teams in the preparation of the business case assessment of future business (RFQs) or new business opportunities in the short term.
  • Support preparation of various scenarios for Business case approach, considering OEM request, market situation, competitor moves and BSEU strategy. This includes what if/worst case scenario study.
  • Bring in ideas to the OE Sales team in order to give a wider basis for scenario's and helping to direct to final decision for the business cases.
  • Coordinate business case proposal to Consumer Sales management in order to get final decision.
  • Control price setting & changes documentation, following up correct implementation and execution of relative procedures. Keep proper and correct filing system.
  • Develop further the business case assessment methods as continuous improvement.

Price Control

  • Control implementation of new pricing adjustments by the OE KAMs.
  • Analyze its impact in the short term, following up correct implementation and execution of procedure.
  • Maintaining a price database and providing key insights of price evolution, trends & further improve our business assessment tools.
  • Creation and maintenance of a pricing matrix to support better pricing in our business.

Strategic Case Studies

  • Coordinate Consumer OE Sales team activities for OEM strategic investigations.
  • Make sure all involved departments join and contribute and keep overall summary activities.
  • Bring in ideas for directions based on BSEU strategy and OE MTP direction.

Requirements

  • Education: Master Degree.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing or Market Research.
  • Hard & Soft Skills:
    • Great Analytical Skills.
    • High Excel and Powerpoint proficiency is a must.
    • Forward thinking, willing to learn, open minded and flexible.
    • Target-oriented and able to manage complexity.
    • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment and matrix organization.
