Performing (strategic & operational) business analysis, translating the findings in concrete actions and recommandations, and supporting the execution of these actions is in the heart of the activities of the BtB Performance Manager. He/she will have the support in its activities of one direct report.

Key responsibilites and Tasks

Mid Term Plan (MTP) & Target Setting

  • He/she is responsible for the yearly strategic planning (5 year) exercise and translating these data and recommandations to the different stakeholders in the organization (BtB Management, finance, optimization, …);
  • He/She aligns results with BtB Management and makes insights visible/presentable to the BtB Management team and other commercial and financial stakeholders within Luminus;
  • He/She is able to translate these conclusions in targets for the entire BtB organization (Sales & Customer Operations) in agreement with BtB Director and Finance department.

Customer Profitability

  • He/She is responsible for the calculation, identification and determination of the actual profitability of each BtB customer and subsegment;
  • He/she analyses the results and formulates concrete recommandations and actions to the BtB Management team and stakeholders to improve department’s net profitability.

Business Analysis

  • He/she plays an instrumental role for delivering key business analysis on sales of all commercial channels used for strategic management of the sales (and marketing) actitivities;
  • He/she is responsible for the day to day calculations of the actual gross margin and volume (ex-post) analysis and reporting;
  • In this role he/ she is expected, together with his/her team, to look for continuous improvements and automations in reporting and processes;
  • He/She is responsible for maintaining the Qlik dashboards used by the different B2B departments, such as B2B Management, Marketing, Sales, Pricing, et…;
  • He/She will act as the business owner for all developments in BtB done by the BI and Analytics scrum teams.

Dashboard KPI data

  • He/she is responsible for the development of a monitoring dashboard for the BtB management. This involves the creation, validation & analysis of the commercial KPI’s, and present findings and gap analysis to management and stakeholders;
  • He/she looks to the best ways to build measuring instruments to better measure impact & performance of general customer intelligence.

AI Developments

  • He/She is responsible for integrating AI models and technology in the BtB department to facilitate Analysis, Prospect & Lead Data generation and qualification.

Requirements

  • Master degree, or equivalent through training or experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a (commercial) analytical or business intelligence related role;
  • Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, accurate and result driven;
  • Hands-on Leader, eager to understand all aspects of BtB Business and support BtB management in a proactive way in the continuous transforming energy market;
  • Listening skills, combined with verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strictly respect deadlines;
  • Ability to interact on a regular basis with stakeholders (departments such as pricing, B2B marketing, finance, IT, B2B Sales Management …);
  • Fluent in Dutch or French & English is a requirement;
  • Knowledge of BI systems (Qlik, SAS, SAP BW, SAP BO …) is an asset;
  • Reporting and presentation skills.
